Psychopath teacher's aid in Thunder Bay assaults child with Deadly Weapon
Must ... hold ... back ... rage ...
My son has very long hair - by his own choice. He is only 7 but we are all in favour of him making his own decisions on things which ultimately do not matter. If someone did this to my child I would want them charged with assault with a deadly weapon, and I am honestly not sure if I could keep myself from doing precisely the same thing to my child's assailant.

It's my hair, and I will cut it if I want to
Mentioned this issue to a friend of mine who is a retired High School VP, and he said it sounds to him like we're not getting the whole story. This one is just too out there for me to believe there is not more to it. Will be an interesting one to follow.
one report says ...
... the teacher's aid simply saw the boy at the computer screen having trouble reading, which if true is not nearly as sinister as this had appeared at first. But I would still be VERY upset if this were my child. How can a child ever learn to trust teachers with that kind of violation of personal space?
*restrained anger*
I have noticed your young lad's hair in at least one of your videos, and many years ago, I was also a young man with long hair. I choose to shave my melon now (it is extremely low cost, cool in summer, I decide when to do it 24hrs a day, and DIY is very much my style), but do at times miss the shaggy head. I am very much in agreement with your position - this TA should be both terminated from their job, and charged with assault. As you say, hair ultimately does not really matter, however, removing this child's (or any person's) right to choose is just plain wrong. Hard to formulate intelligent thoughts on this right now, difficult to get them past righteous indignation. Thanks for sharing, I might not have seen this article otherwise.
Abuse
That aide should be fired, not suspended. I would FREAK if anyone violated my child like that, and I don't even have children. I've been reading the "it's only hair" comments on the CBC web site... doesn't matter. The boy OWNS THAT HAIR. Why should it matter if it's "only" hair?
Man I am pissed at this.
