This article echos a long-held belief of mine that the best thing for us in the long run is to let the economy die. It goes into detail on just what is wrong with our economic model, and why it simply cannot be fixed in its current form.

This is a pretty scathing article from the popular Rolling Stone magazine. And I have to say I agree with every word of it. A few choice quotes here :

"So it's time to admit it: We're fools, protagonists in a kind of gruesome comedy about the marriage of greed and stupidity. And the worst part about it is that we're still in denial — we still think this is some kind of unfortunate accident, not something that was created by the group of psychopaths on Wall Street whom we allowed to gang-rape the American Dream"
